What is a Business Model Canvas?
The Business Model Canvas is a one-page strategic tool created by Alexander Osterwalder that lets you visualise how a business creates, delivers, and captures value across nine interconnected building blocks.
It replaces the 40-page business plan with a single living artefact teams can iterate on weekly. Use it to pressure-test new ideas, align stakeholders, or re-design a mature model under competitive pressure.
